Integration Testing is the process of incrementally adding individual components of a product to ensure expected performance prior to full integration. QA Acceptance Testing refers to the tests that are performed prior to the Testing department officially accepting a software product into test from development. A method of testing to verify that the functions of a system are present as specified in the Requirements. A series of tests designed to fully exercise the behavior of the system. Also referred to as End-To-End Testing. Regression testing ensures that software modifications have not negatively impacted unchanged functionality. User Acceptance testing is performed by the users or customers of the application. The primary objectives of the User Acceptance Test are to determine that the system meets the user requirements and is functioning to satisfactorily meet the business needs. Performance or stress testing is done to ensure that the application conforms to service level and response time agreements. Load/Volume testing involves testing with high volumes of data to determine the system's maximum load capacity and the ability to meet the performance criteria when processing that data.
